out and about

Step out of the property and you will immediately find a bakery, bars, the river Baise, fine dining restaurants, cinema, theatre, a local distillery etc. Further along you will find the park and central walkway that runs through the town, leading off you will find the magnificent Cathedral of Saint-Pierre with its amazing statue of the four Musketeers, a museum, shops, local exhibitions, restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. There are supermarkets and a twice weekly market close by, for any self catering needs. 

Venture just outside the town, the beautiful countryside of The Gers awaits right in the very heart of Gascony, just gently rolling, well farmed fields, endless meadows of sunflowers, and vineyards. 

Historic Bastide villages, fortified towns, Abbey’s, ancient religious buildings, Chateaux and Gallo-Roman sites. They are all there to be savoured and enjoyed by those with an interest in history and a love and appreciation of the countryside, culture, architecture and good food.
