Plunge into the history of Gascony and discover Larressingle, one of the most beautiful and smallest fortified villages in France.  Outer walls, courtyards, crenelated towers, moat, entrance gate (UNESCO protected), 13th century château, fortified 12th century church, medieval houses attached inside the outer walls, this village will welcome you just as it was in the 16th century. you will also find two cafes, two restaurants and an ice cream parlour -                Not to be missed. ………

If you would like a horse riding session, around the local area, vineyards and  sunflower valleys, this can be arranged with a local equestrian centre.  They cater for all levels of ability. 

The Aurian distillery is a must and it’s right on our doorstep, just a 5 minute walk and you can revel in Armagnac history, sampling some of the best Armagnac in the region. 

The Aurian house and its small team are happy to show you around its prestigious premises, and offer you several dozen wines with fruit, herbs and other spices, liqueurs and other subtleties such as brandies, and of course Armagnac.

 Lectoure is a Gallo Roman town and still has many traces of its past.  Today Lectoure is a re-defined, neo-classical hilltop village. Its main street is full of interesting shops, Brocantes, cafes, restaurants, an impressive Cathedral and an enchanting old hospital that is now a Brocante.  Market day is on a Friday and look out for the Vide Greniers (check the dates). 

An amazing micro-lite ride awaits you, over the town of Condom and the surrounding areas. View Chateau‘s from above and the vast valleys of sunflowers And vineyards. Simply amazing and not to be missed.
