My stay for the first ever writing retreat lead by the wonderful Claire Boot exceeded my expectations.  

Wow what a pleasure to have stayed here and enjoying  your  exceptional hosting!.

Home from Home - everything about this place was amazing! so beautifully decorated and furnished with elegance and charm….just like the hospitality from Dale & Martin. genuine Yorkshire warmth in the heart of France.

The Champagne House deserves a 5 star rating in every sense! It is a wonderful and very special place to stay right in the heart of beautiful Condom. The moment you step into the elegant house you know you are staying somewhere very special - the delightful owners, Dale and Martin are incredibly attentive, from serving welcome bubbles on arrival to preparing sumptuous breakfasts (better than the Ritz, London)! This lovingly restored four story house is full of history, chateau chic charm and warmth - an amazing experience during our stay in Le Gers and highly recommended! - Suzanne 

Superb stay spent in this magnificent house very well decorated, the rooms are spacious and comfortable.  The breakfast on the terrace was very generous.  And above all, our hosts were extremely kind and cared for us.  It is an address that I highly recommend and I hope to be able to return there one day. - Marjorie
